In a strategic move set to redefine the landscape of Hampshire’s printing industry, Big Print Little Print (BPLP) proudly announces its merger with The Time 2 Display Group, bringing together a conglomerate that includes Fordingbridge Print, Xconsumables, Paper Mountain, and Paper Meadows. This transformative union marks a significant milestone for both entities, combining decades of experience, innovation, and a shared commitment to delivering unparalleled printing solutions.

BPLP traces its roots back to 1994 when it commenced operations as Kolour Krazy. Founded by the dynamic duo of Mark and Rose, the business initially focused on retailing footballs and trainers along Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth. However, the winds of change soon swept through the company when laser copiers were introduced, leading to a strategic shift into copying, printing, and the groundbreaking world of laser transfer printing on t-shirts.

The second generation, represented by son Mike, joined forces with the family enterprise in the late 1990s, propelling the clothing business to new heights. A pivotal moment occurred during a work trip to Las Vegas, where the team discovered the first cadcut machine, opening doors to a new era of possibilities. The business diversified into workwear for small businesses, experiencing exponential growth throughout the 2000s, particularly dominating the South Coast with logo’d gear.

Amidst this success, daughter Sam joined the team, contributing to the specialization in A5 print runs. The business further evolved, incorporating a diverse range of collaborations with startups and envisioning the establishment of a Print School. However, plans shifted, and in 2014, BPLP acquired Top Copy, moving its operations to Moordown and expanding its repertoire to include large format printing such as banners and flags.

In parallel, The Time 2 Display Group has been on a trajectory of continuous expansion. The excitement surrounding the integration of BPLP into this thriving family signifies the shared vision and values of both entities. The Time 2 Display Group recognises the resilience, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to quality that BPLP brings to the table.
